Direzione di ricerca

Start by locating the Badge variant:info styles and the Lablup theme token overrides; compare them with the neutral theme and inspect other components such as Banner info that pair the accent fill with its on-color token. Use Storybook's DoubleBadge › Variants in both color schemes to confirm the text matches the neutral theme under Lablup and that the neutral theme is unchanged.

Descrizione

Problem

Under the Lablup theme in dark mode, an info Badge has dark brown text on a blue fill.

The Astryx neutral theme styles badges with a fixed status fill and the matching "on" token for text:

variant fill text
success --astryx-theme-neutral-color-status-fill-success --color-on-success
warning ...-fill-warning --color-on-warning
error ...-fill-error --color-on-error
info ...-fill-accent (blue) --color-on-accent

info borrows the accent's text colour. The Lablup theme seeds an orange accent, so --color-on-accent is re-derived for orange: light-dark(#FFFFFF, #651000). The fill stays blue, so in dark mode the label is #651000 on rgb(109, 156, 254).

Measured in Storybook (DoubleBadge › Variants), dark mode:

neutral theme Lablup theme
info text rgb(17, 17, 17), contrast 7.0 rgb(101, 16, 0), contrast 4.8

Every other variant, and every variant in light mode, renders the same under both themes. The status variants are unaffected because the Lablup theme changes --color-success / -warning / -error but not their --color-on-* tokens.

Proposal

Give the info badge a text colour tied to its blue fill rather than to the accent, in the Lablup theme (a component override on badge variant:info), e.g. the neutral theme's #111111 in dark mode and white in light mode. Check other components that pair the neutral status-fill-accent with --color-on-accent (Banner info, etc.) for the same mismatch.

Acceptance

  • Under the Lablup theme, an info Badge's text matches the neutral theme's in both colour schemes.
  • No change under the neutral theme.
