Direzione di ricerca

Start with crates/compositor/src/shaders.metal and trace how sample_yuv receives the buffer marker and applies its coefficients. Find where the buffer's YCbCr matrix attachment is available and how matrix selection is represented in the compositor. Done when buffers using BT.601 and BT.709 render with the matrix indicated by their attachment.

Descrizione

On macOS, sample_yuv in crates/compositor/src/shaders.metal always applies BT.709 coefficients. The buffer marker only selects the range, so a BT.601 VideoToolbox buffer renders with slightly wrong hues. The matrix should come from each buffer's YCbCr matrix attachment.
