The report does not name the failing shortcuts, so first reproduce on GNOME 49 under X11 and list which configured bindings fail. The journal excerpt shows gnome-shell errors, but it does not show shortcut events, so compare shortcut handling with the journal output while a binding is pressed. Done means identifying one reproducible failing shortcut and its cause, or confirming it is specific to this Fedora setup.

Description

Some keyboard shortcuts in the Forge extension are not working properly on Fedora.
Not sure if this issue is specific to my machine or if it affects all Fedora installations.

Expected Behavior

All configured shortcuts should trigger their assigned actions consistently.

Actual Behavior

Some shortcuts fail to trigger or only work intermittently.

System Information
  • OS: Fedora 42
  • GNOME version: 49
  • Desktop Session: X11
Logs / Debug Info

If relevant, journalctl -f does not show shortcut events when they fail.

Additional Notes

This might be a Fedora-specific behavior, but I’m not fully sure.
Happy to test patches or provide more information if needed.
