Why

The ECS view lists clusters only, but Fells runs one cluster with about eight services. Per-service health is what an operator actually needs.

Steps

  1. Follow docs/recipes/add-a-service.md. Reuse the ECS client.
  2. For each cluster, page list_services, then describe_services in chunks of 10 with include set to TAGS.
  3. Model EcsServiceInfo: cluster name, service name, ARN, desired, running, pending, launch type, task definition (family and revision only), primary deployment rollout state, tags.
  4. Return a ServiceStatus on failure (see #88 for why this matters in ECS).
  5. Console: https://console.aws.amazon.com/ecs/v2/clusters/<cluster>/services/<service>/health?region=<region>. CLI: aws ecs describe-services --cluster <cluster> --services <service> --region <region>.
  6. Palette entry ecs-services with alias services.

  • cargo fmt --all, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings, and cargo test --all pass, with output pasted in the PR
