Direzione di ricerca

Start by locating the credential rules, shell-exec rule, and their tests in the repository; the issue does not name specific files. Check how each rule identifies test paths and child_process calls, then run the relevant tests. Done means fixture paths suppress unknown credential-like values while known key formats still warn, and shell-exec warnings require the stated child_process evidence, with tests covering false and true positives.

Descrizione

bug hooks

What

The guard warns on credential-looking values in test fixtures and on any exec( call with a template string, including RegExp.prototype.exec and ORM exec helpers.

Why

Warnings that are wrong teach people to ignore the hook or turn it off.

Acceptance criteria

  • Credential rules are quieter in test paths (*.test.*, *.spec.*, __tests__/, tests/, *Tests.cs) unless the value matches a known key format.
  • The shell-exec rule needs evidence the call is child_process (an import or require of it in the file, or cp.exec/child_process.exec).
  • Tests cover both the old false positives and the true positives they must keep.
