Direzione di ricerca

The issue asks about enabling Always Encrypted support via pyodbc in the dbt-sqlserver adapter. Start by examining the connector's connection configuration and pyodbc driver settings. Look for where connection strings are built, likely in the adapter's core modules. Research how pyodbc supports Always Encrypted and what parameters need to be passed. 'Done' means the adapter can pass the necessary settings to pyodbc to enable the feature.

Descrizione

Hello, thank you for all you hard work on this connector. I am interested in using Always Encrypted with SQL Server 2017. This is supported by the underlying pyodbc, so I was wondering whether there is a way to make this work with the connector?

Would be a great way of handling more sensitive data.
