Description
Add the ability for users to select a specific part of a note and highlight it.
This is different from Saved Notes:
- 🔖 Save → saves the whole note.
- 🟨 Highlight → saves an important part of the note.
Example
A note contains:
RAG retrieves relevant context before generating an answer.
The user selects that sentence and taps Highlight.
UNIUN creates a NIP-84 highlight event referencing the original note and the selected text.
Why
Highlights can become smaller pieces of knowledge that UNIUN can use later for:
- Personal knowledge discovery
- Brahma knowledge graph
- Shiv/RAG context
- Community insights
Initial Scope
- Allow text selection inside notes.
- Add a Highlight action.
- Create NIP-84
kind:9802highlight events. - Reference the original note.
- Display saved highlights in the user's knowledge area.
Saved Notes will remain unchanged.
