The file dialog for loading an image or logo in the video-with-subtitles export is the entry point; find where its initial directory is set and check whether it reuses the last export's folder. The fix should make the dialog open at the most recently used image's folder, or the current project folder. Reproduce by exporting a video with a logo from one project, then opening a new project and opening the logo dialog.

Descrizione

When generating a video file with embedded subtitles—specifically when loading an image or logo—the system defaults to the folder used for the previous project (where the video and subtitles for that earlier project were located). It never defaults to the location where the image or logo is actually stored, nor does it default to the folder associated with the current project.

In the first video, you can see it defaulting to the project folder used for the previous export.

In the second video, after generating a video and switching to a new project, it becomes even clearer that the system loads the folder from the last project used, rather than the current one.

MMy logos and branding assets are not stored in the same locations as my projects; in fact, they are often on entirely different drives.

Is it possible to have the system default to the location where the most recently used image was sourced?
