Review commit 9cb4da816b1ff6783fce8561e0a7c06818a8c6e3 and the HUD currently on dev, starting with its workspace display in pancake mode. Then investigate the VR path and decide the HUD's style and behavior before adding the remaining battery, Bluetooth, and WiFi elements with their required images. Done means the HUD works in VR and its UX and status elements are settled.

I pushed some code to dev which adds a rudimentary HUD to the pancake view. It only shows the current workspace in the top-left corner. https://github.com/SimulaVR/Simula/commit/9cb4da816b1ff6783fce8561e0a7c06818a8c6e3

Remaining HUD TODOs:

  • Get it working in VR (currently only shows up in pancake mode)
  • Add dummy HUD elements for battery life, Bluetooh connectivity, WiFi strength, etc (basically everything that shows up on an Android status bar)
    • This will require importing images for these symbols
  • Decide on HUD style UX (toggleable or always present? what color and font sizing? what location of the screen?)
