Start by reproducing the issue with both the mondo and simula launch commands, closing the terminal used for installation before trying them again. Trace the installation and command entry points to identify why the commands depend on that terminal session; done means both commands still work after the terminal closes without reinstalling.

Both the mondo and simula launch commands cease to work when the terminal I used to install it closes. I have to reinstall the entire thing all over again to get it to work again.
