Direzione di ricerca

Start with Stripe's official docs to verify onramp availability, regions, fees, and KYC; the issue says existing evidence is secondary. Then read issue #9 to map the proposed funding flow into escrow and identify custody implications. Done when a written build decision documents the flow and risks.

Scritto dal modello di indicizzazione a partire dal testo della issue.

Descrizione

chain-integration enhancement payments research-spike tier-2

Summary

Check whether Stripe's fiat-to-crypto onramp could let users fund on-chain escrow with a card.

Estimated size: S

Motivation

Would remove the need for users to already hold stablecoins for escrow-backed reservations.

Proposal

  • Confirm current availability, regions, fees and KYC for the onramp in Stripe's own docs (evidence found so far is secondary).
  • Sketch the flow into escrow (#9) and what we would have to custody, if anything.

Acceptance criteria

  • A written decision on whether to build it, with the flow and risks.

Dependencies

  • #9

Part of #1 (see also #10). Ground rules for all issues in this roadmap are listed there (testnet-first, no secrets in the repo, chain logic behind the registry, tests and docs with every PR).
