  • Location: backend/src/controllers/stream.controller.ts:807-841, 890-919
  • Problem: pauseStream/resumeStream call simulation-only Soroban functions (see Architecture #B7) and respond { success: true, stream }, echoing the unmodified, pre-call stream object — no on-chain transaction is submitted and no DB field (isPaused/pausedAt) is updated.
  • Evidence: Response object is the same stream read before the call; no prisma.stream.update in either handler.
  • Suggested implementation: Either implement real signed on-chain calls (see Architecture #B7) or, until that lands, return 501 Not Implemented/an explicit "not yet supported" error instead of a false success: true.
  • Acceptance criteria: Calling pause/resume either performs a real state change verifiable in the DB and on-chain, or returns a non-200 response indicating it did not.
  • Difficulty: L
  • Expected impact: Stops the API from lying to clients about whether a stream was actually paused/resumed.
