Why

On testing-preview, the DMQ node 0.7.0.0 rejects some signature messages published by the signers because their body exceeds the maximum size it accepts (3711 bytes), likely because of the combination of the registered stake distribution and the protocol parameters.

What

The signers publish signature messages that always fit within the maximum size accepted by the DMQ node, so that no signature is lost on the DMQ network whatever the stake distribution.

How

  • Craft a new protocol parameters that create signatures below the limit of the DMQ node message size
  • Deploy and test the new protocol parameters on dev-preview and dev-follower-preview networks
  • Deploy the new protocol parameters on testing-preview and testing-2-preview networks
