Research direction

Read the linked decision section in ROADMAP.md first. Settle which tables are in scope, whether sorting persists and how older settings files behave, then decide how CSV fits the existing screen exports, including number formatting and units. Done means recording the dated decisions in ROADMAP.md and adding a milestone with its own checklist.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

enhancement later

Sort any table by any column, and export what it shows as CSV.

What has to be settled before this gets a milestone

  • Which tables, and whether a sort is remembered between runs. A remembered sort is a new setting, with a default for older settings files.
  • How CSV fits the export already in the screens (2026-10-05, ROADMAP.md), and its format: number formatting and where the units go.

Done when

  • The settled answers are a dated decision in ROADMAP.md, and this issue gets a milestone with its own checklist.
