Research direction

Find dbkit/sqlite/options_test.go and inspect the refusal row labeled “a cache size past 32 bits.” Check how the test handles strconv.IntSize and run the dbkit/sqlite tests for a 32-bit target and the native target. Done means the test file compiles and vet runs on 32-bit systems, while the row still runs on 64-bit systems.

Description

bug help wanted

go vet with GOOS=linux and GOARCH=386 or GOARCH=arm stops in the dbkit/sqlite options tests.

Current state: the refusal row 'a cache size past 32 bits' in options_test.go sets CacheSize, an int, to math.MaxInt32 + 1. On a 32-bit system that number does not fit in an int, so the test file does not compile there and vet reports nothing else for the package.

Proposal: add that row only where an int is 64 bits wide (strconv.IntSize == 64), so the file compiles on 32-bit systems and the row still runs on 64-bit ones.

Trigger: someone runs the tests or vet of dbkit/sqlite for a 32-bit target.
