Línea de trabajo
Start with the main README, then inspect tests/integration/ and docs/settings/ to find existing client support, test scripts, authentication methods, transport assumptions, and setup links. Add a concise compatibility matrix under docs/, link it from the README, and base tested status on the integration scripts; done when the requested client information is centralized.
Escrito por el modelo de indexación a partir del texto del issue.
Descripción
Opened by @francescobianco from local draft 10-client-compatibility-matrix.md.
Summary
This repo already hints at support for several MCP consumers, but it is hard to tell which paths are officially tested versus inferred from examples. A lightweight compatibility matrix would reduce guesswork for users evaluating this server with modern AI tooling.
Reproduction
- Read the main README.
- Inspect
tests/integration/anddocs/settings/. - Try to answer: "Is this tested with Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenAI Responses API, VS Code, Cursor, or Continue?"
- The answer is not centralized.
Expected
A concise matrix listing:
- client name
- status: tested, documented, or community-supported
- auth method
- transport assumptions
- link to setup docs
Actual
Support information is spread across the repo.
Why this is a good first issue
This is a small documentation task with high user impact and no protocol changes.
Suggested acceptance criteria
- Add a compatibility matrix page under
docs/. - Link it from README.md.
- Base the "tested" rows on existing scripts in
tests/integration/.
