Línea de trabajo

Start by tracing how plot_spawning_biomass handles ref_line="unfished" and how convert_output maps SSB_virgin and SSB_unfished for SS3 models, especially in the DERIVED_QUANTITIES module. Compare the duplicate spawning_biomass_unfished entries in example_data and check related plotting tests. Done means the unfished reference line appears as expected without conflating quantities that may differ in complex models.

Descripción

bug
Describe the bug

When running plot_spawning_biomass(example_data, ref_line="unfished"), no unfished reference point is added to the ensuing plot (note that the function does NOT throw an error, it just doesn't plot the expected reference).

Additional Context

From some sleuthing, this is due to there being multiple entries of "spawning_biomass_unfished" in the example_data dataset (at least for the "DERIVED_QUANTITIES" module name). convert_output is mapping both "SSB_virgin" and "SSB_unfished" to the label "spawning_biomass_unfished" for SS3 models. It is debatable whether these quantities SHOULD be interpreted as the same (they have the same estimated value in the example_data, though different uncertainties, and the SS3 manual notes that they may differ for complex models with time varying parameters).
