The failing call is a PUT to the ADLS Gen2 endpoint with an x-ms-rename-source header that points at a path containing E%3A, so the delete seems to go through a rename, and the 403 comes back as AuthorizationPermissionMismatch. The payload names only the bundled adls2-extension dist/src/index.js and no reproduction steps, so first reproduce by creating a folder whose name looks like a path and deleting it, then trace the delete request in that extension. Done means the delete succeeds for such names or the permission error is explained with a fix.
