Start from plugins/education/skills/teach/SKILL.md (close-or-revise around line 174, status around 132) and plugins/education/skills/teach/context/mission.md, then skills/teach/scripts/list-workspaces.sh. Design where closed state is stored and how status, discovery, and resume read it. Add eval cases from the pocock-24 set in plugins/education/evals/. Done when close persists, closed workspaces are not offered as active, status shows closed, and resume offers reopen/revise instead of close-or-revise.

Problem

education:teach resume now checks the records against each MISSION.md "Success Looks Like" item, and when every item is met it asks the learner whether to close the mission or revise it (plugins/education/skills/teach/SKILL.md:174, added in #6393). Choosing "close" records nothing:

  • No closed state or status marker exists for a mission (plugins/education/skills/teach/context/mission.md defines none).
  • status (SKILL.md:132) lists every workspace as active.
  • skills/teach/scripts/list-workspaces.sh returns every workspace, so discovery keeps offering a closed one as active.
  • A later resume hits the same all-criteria-met branch and offers close-or-revise again.

Wanted

  • A persisted closed state for a mission, written when the learner chooses "close".
  • list-workspaces.sh and discovery stop offering a closed workspace as active.
  • status shows it as closed.
  • resume on a closed workspace does not re-offer close-or-revise. It says the mission is closed and offers to reopen or revise.
  • An eval case for each behavior. The pocock-24 cases in plugins/education/evals/ are the starting point.

This needs its own design (where the state lives and how each surface reads it), so it was kept out of #6393.
