Start with the MCP server’s prompt resources and the v1.4 skill export; neither specific files nor tests are named in the issue. Descripción
Serve prompts as skills straight from the MCP server (skill:// resources), so a tool that reads skills over MCP gets the library without a skills folder on disk.
Why it waits
Neither Claude Code nor Codex reads skills over MCP yet. Until one does, v1.4's Export as skill and skills mirror cover the same need with files those tools already read.
When it's ready
- Claude Code or Codex supports skills over MCP. Link the docs or changelog here.
- Decide which prompts become skills (favorites, like MCP prompts, or a separate choice) and how
{{variables}}map, reusing v1.4's export.
Then it gets a milestone, and its resources join the MCP contract fixtures. It stays read-only, like the rest of MCP's read access.
