Línea de trabajo

Read EventPipeline.cs and 20_ErrorPlugin.cs to follow how project settings reach the event context, then check the settings access patterns for @@DataExclusions, @@UserAgentBotPatterns and @@IncludePrivateInformation. Update the reads for UserNamespaces and CommonMethods with the stated fallback, and verify stacking for both configuration settings and existing data properties; consider whether migrating Project.Data is needed for the settings page.

Descripción

bug

Problem

The User Namespaces and Common Methods fields on the project settings page are saved, but the event pipeline never sees them, so they don't affect stacking.

Reproduction

Verified against exceptionless/exceptionless:8.10.0 (StackingSignatureE2ETest):

  1. POST /api/v2/projects/{id}/config?key=UserNamespaces with com.example (what the UI does). Submit an error thrown from Integer.parseInt called by com.example.Foo. Result: the signature method is still java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(...).
  2. POST /api/v2/projects/{id}/data?key=UserNamespaces with com.example. Submit the same error. Result: the signature method is com.example.Foo.parse(...) as expected.

Proposal

ErrorPlugin should read UserNamespaces and CommonMethods from context.Project.Configuration.Settings, falling back to the existing data properties for backwards compatibility. That's also how @@DataExclusions, @@UserAgentBotPatterns and @@IncludePrivateInformation are read.

Optionally migrate existing Project.Data values into the configuration so the settings page shows them.

Note: configuration settings are also sent to clients by /projects/config. That's harmless, since clients ignore keys they don't know. Hiding them from the client-configuration table is already handled (config-options.svelte.ts#L61).
