Línea de trabajo

Start by tracing the Assets index view’s thumbnail-size preference and loading path; the issue does not name the relevant files or tests. Reproduce in table view with Large thumbnails and in thumbs view with a non-default size, then locate the code that renders rows and tiles before loading finishes. Done when both views show correctly sized, populated thumbnails from the initial render.

What happened?

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to Assets and select a volume in table view.
  2. In the View menu, set Thumb Size to Large.
  3. Reload the page.

Expected behavior

The rows render with Large thumbnails from the start.

Actual behavior

The rows first render with Small thumbnails, then switch to Large once the index finishes loading.

In thumbs view with a non-default size (e.g. XL), the tiles have the right size from the start, but their thumbnails stay blank until loading finishes.
