Read src/templates/newsletter/subscribe-card.ts and src/templates/newsletter/issue-card.ts for the closest newsletter templates, then check the shared template checklist in #5. Add src/templates/newsletter/welcome.ts with the specified fields and acceptance criteria; re-export it from src/templates/newsletter/index.ts and register it in src/templates/registry.ts. Done when the acceptance criteria and shared checklist are met.

Part of #5. For the welcome post a newsletter sends to new subscribers.

Idea
A small label sits at the top ("Welcome to"), with the newsletter name large under it ("The Friday Brief"). Below are up to three numbered things to expect ("A 5-minute read every Friday", "One deep dive a month", "No ads, ever"), and an optional sign-off at the bottom ("Priya, editor").

  • File: src/templates/newsletter/welcome.ts, id newsletter-welcome
  • Fields: label (text, default "Welcome to"), commonFields.siteName (the newsletter name), item1 to item3 (text, optional), signoff (text, optional), commonFields.bgColor, commonFields.accentColor, commonFields.textColor

  • Closest reference: src/templates/newsletter/subscribe-card.ts (newsletter header), src/templates/newsletter/issue-card.ts

Acceptance criteria

  • Empty items (or only spaces) are skipped and the numbers stay in order, and long items truncate
  • An empty signoff hides cleanly, and the numbers and label stay readable on a light background
  • Re-exported in src/templates/newsletter/index.ts and registered in the Newsletter block of src/templates/registry.ts
  • Meets the shared template checklist in #5
