Apache SkyWalking Component

BanyanDB (apache/skywalking-banyandb)

What happened

On a standalone node, a multi-group aggregate like SELECT host, SUM(v) FROM MEASURE qlb_fixture IN replicated_group, sw_metric ... GROUP BY host returns one row per group, m=5 and m=18, instead of a single m=23. The same query on a distributed cluster returns 23 since #14069.

MultiGroupMerge runs the full aggregation in each group and then just concatenates the results (the comment in multi_group_merge.go points at #14069 for reducing them, but that one only covered the liaison).

What you expected to happen

Standalone and distributed should give the same answer: one row per group key, reduced across groups.

How to reproduce

Register RegisterMultiGroupAggTable (added in apache/skywalking-banyandb#1442) in test/integration/standalone/query/vectorized_test.go and run it with -tags querymetrics. It fails with QL row count: got 2, want 1.

Anything else

I'd like to fix it by running each group in partial mode and reducing with the same path the liaison uses, then registering that test in the standalone suite too. Ok to take it?
