⚠️ Key Breaking Changes
- JDK Requirement: Minimum version raised to JDK 17 (was JDK 8 in 5.x).
- API Removal: Methods marked as
@Deprecatedin 5.x have been completely removed. - Behavior Change:
DataFormatternow uses cached values for formula cells by default. - Dependency Upgrades: Major upgrades to
xmlsec,bouncycastle,commons-*, etc. (JPMS users require explicit module resolution). - Stricter Parsing: Corrupted or malformed xlsx/docx files will be rejected outright, which may affect edge-case tests or legacy file handling.
