Línea de trabajo

No files or tests are named. Start by locating the branch-detection logic and its existing reflog handling, then trace how a local branch is compared with its remote tracking branch after fetch. Done means merged-branch detection accounts for the remote counterpart's reflog, with tests covering the described reset-and-fetch scenario.

Descripción

status

A local branch that the user doesn't manage themselves might only ever get reset to its remote counterpart without any other action; we should also see what happened with the remote counterpart (e.g. if it has been updated via fetch - this also indicates a merged rather than newly-created branch).

Although maybe this condition can be specified in a different manner without relying on remote counterpart's reflog.
