The payload names no files. Its entry points are the OSD cmdlets in the reproduction steps, such as New-OSDCloudTemplate and Update-OSDCloudUSB, which should be searched in the repository to find where a PowerShell version check could go. Done means either an early exit with a clear message when PowerShell 7 is detected, or a documentation note that PowerShell 7 is unsupported. The maintainer has not chosen between the two, and the issue has been quiet for over a year, so confirm the direction before starting.

Unfortunatly I wasted a few hours not realising that the new PowerShell doesn't run the scripts correctly but still run to completion. Can I suggest an early exit, or a message in the documentation that the new PowerShell is not supported yet, to remind users like me?
steps to reproduce:
open terminal app with PowerShell 7.5.1
Install-Module OSD -Force
New-OSDCloudTemplate -Language en-gb -SetInputLocale en-US -SetAllIntl en-au -Verbose
