Descripción
The built-in OpenAI provider defaults in PREDEFINED_PROVIDERS_MODEL_MAP (packages/data-designer-config/src/data_designer/config/utils/constants.py) point the openai-reasoning and openai-vision aliases at gpt-5. OpenAI retires gpt-5 on 2026-12-11, so after that date those default aliases will fail for anyone using the OpenAI provider with the default model configs. The suggested replacement is gpt-5.6-terra (the reasoning_effort: medium extra_body in GPT5_INFERENCE_PARAMS is unchanged). A two-line change plus the matching assertions in test_default_model_settings.py is ready; happy to open a PR once the issue is triaged. (Separately, gpt-4.1 used for openai-text is slated for removal on 2027-01-14; not touched here.)
Diagnostics: the agent searched the repo for gpt-5 — only the two default entries and the test assertions refer to the retired model (other occurrences are fixtures).
