Línea de trabajo

Start from the entity classes for the white and dark goo creatures and their AI goal/target selectors, tracing how a target is chosen when a creature attacks. The issue asks for two behaviors: white and dark variants should avoid or hostilely regard each other rather than ignore one another, and a dark goo that the player has been transfurred into should treat white goo as an ally (or at least stop the player's attack from triggering retaliation) instead of attacking the player. Done looks like a defined faction/ally rule applied to targeting, verified by spawning both variants and by reproducing the transfurred-player scenario in a facility.

Descripción

I just started using this mod today and I've had a total blast with it, but upon finding a facility and entering, one thing really stood out to me really dramatically, which was the complete lack of infighting between the two colors.

What I was expecting was the colors at least trying to avoid each other, maybe not outright fighting since it'd be kind of awful if they had all just killed each other before the player even gets there. Another thing I noticed was that once I got transfurred into a dark goo creature, I started to continue my attack on a white goo creature that was also trying to get me. This caused the dark goo to start trying to attack me, albeit without damage, and in my opinion this makes little sense from what we know about the game. I had assumed he would have started helping me, not trying to stop me.
