The change is done when the worker no longer raises the AttributeError or QSslSocket: device not open errors and the Addon Manager completes its constraint check and package index loading.

When launching the FreeCAD 26.3rc2 AppImage on Ubuntu 24.04.5 LTS Linux, the Addon Manager startup worker throws an AttributeError during initialization, preventing the constraint check from completing and triggering SSL socket errors.

Steps to reproduce

Download and run FreeCAD 26.3rc2 AppImage on Linux.

Observe startup logs or open Addon Manager.

The background worker crashes immediately upon trying to fetch constraints via blocking_get().

Expected behavior

The Addon Manager should initialize its network worker successfully upon startup without throwing Python AttributeError exceptions or SSL socket errors, allowing the background checks and package index to load normally.

Actual behavior

Upon launching FreeCAD, the startup background worker immediately fails to fetch or parse constraints. The call to blocking_get() triggers an AttributeError because NetworkManager evaluates to None, accompanied by SSL socket read errors (QSslSocket: device not open). As a result, the addon constraints reload fails entirely.
