Describe the bug
Since around October 1st, macOS users have been unable to enroll in the Defguard VPN client. When attempting to create a new instance:
- One-click configuration: The "Add Instance" button hangs / becomes unresponsive.
- Manual configuration: It fails with an "Invalid URL" error.
The issue has been reproduced on the following machines and OS versions:
- MacBook Air M5 16GB (macOS 27.0.1)
- MacBook Pro M4 Pro 24GB (macOS 26.6.1)
- MacBook Pro M2 16GB (macOS 27.0.1)
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to the "One-click configuration" or do a manuel configuration
- Click on "Add instance" in DefGuard
- See error
Expected behavior
The enrollment process (adding the instance) should complete successfully without freezing or throwing an "Invalid URL" error.
Version information
- Defguard Core version: v2.1.2
- Defguard Gateway version: v2.0.2 (if bug is applicable to VPN functionality)
