The payload names no files, so begin by locating the Dot settings screen and the existing create/edit handlers for specialist Dots in the TypeScript codebase. Find how Dot-specific workspace data is stored and which other Dots, Spaces or pages reference a Dot. Done means a delete action with a named confirmation prompt, a removal that leaves shared data intact, a clear error when dependencies block deletion, and navigation to a valid view afterward.

Summary
OpenDots allows users create and edit specialist Dots, but there’s currently no way to delete one from the application. Add a clear and safe way to remove a Dot from the workspace.
Problem
Users may create test specialists or need to retire a specialist, but can’t remove one through the app. The control beside each Dot only opens its settings; there is no delete action in the UI or API.
Proposed behavior
- Add a delete action to the Dot settings.
- Ask for confirmation before deletion and identify the Dot by name.
- Remove the Dot and its Dot-specific workspace data without affecting other Dots or shared Spaces and pages.
- If dependencies prevent deletion, show a clear error explaining what the user needs to do.
- After successful deletion, refresh the workspace and navigate to a valid remaining view if the deleted Dot was selected.
