Research direction

Start with docs/COMPARISON.md and the README, then check the linked issues #31, #35, #37, #313, #316–#320 for current feature and deployment status. Add docs/MIGRATION-PR-AGENT.md with command and config mappings, deployment and cost differences, feature gaps, and honest guidance on which tool to choose. Done when it meets the listed acceptance criteria and is linked from the README and comparison doc.

Description

documentation enhancement
Problem Statement

PR-Agent is the closest OSS peer (~12k ⭐). Many evaluators will A/B ThrillhouseBot against PR-Agent. We have docs/COMPARISON.md but no actionable migration guide — command mapping, deploy model differences, config translation, and when to pick which tool.

Proposed Solution

Add docs/MIGRATION-PR-AGENT.md (published via #318 docs site):

PR-Agent ThrillhouseBot
/review /review, auto on push
/describe /describe (#35)
/improve /improve (#316 when shipped)
/ask @mention conversational reply (#31)
GitHub Actions deploy GitHub App (#313); Actions wrapper (#318)
Multi-platform GitHub only (#37)

Include: env/config mapping, dashboard/cost differences, self-host Docker vs native binary, feature gaps with issue links.

Related issues
  • #316 — /improve (document as planned until shipped)
  • #313, #317 — install/onboarding paths
  • #319 — hosted docs site (publish target)
  • #320 — Tier 3 launch (link from launch posts)
Acceptance criteria
  • Migration doc merged and linked from README + COMPARISON
  • Honest “pick PR-Agent if…” / “pick ThrillhouseBot if…” section
  • Every parity gap references an open issue or “not planned”
Priority

Tier 3 / adoption — ship before or with #319 launch.
