Research direction

Start with the Mermaid theme configuration in website/astro.config.mjs and the diagrams in docs/ARCHITECTURE.md, then check the dark-theme edge label colours against the 4.5:1 ratio. Next, open docs/COMPARISON.md and find the table with a data cell that has no header. Done means Lighthouse reports 100 for accessibility on Architecture in light and dark mode, the How it compares page has no td-has-header failure, and astro build passes its link check.

Description

documentation

Background

The Lighthouse 12.8.2 re-audit for #1130 scored every dashboard page and most docs pages at 100. Two docs pages still fail:

  • Architecture scores 96 before and after #1130. The Mermaid dark theme draws edge labels as #cccccc on #585858, a contrast ratio of 4.43:1. WCAG AA needs 4.5:1 for normal text.
  • How it compares scores 100 but reports a td-has-header failure on one table: a data cell has no associated header.

Change required

  • Set Mermaid theme variables for the dark theme (edge label text or background) so the contrast is at least 4.5:1. Check the light theme too.
  • Find the table that fails td-has-header on the comparison page, and give every data cell a header, for example by adding the missing header cell or a scope.

Acceptance criteria

  • Lighthouse accessibility score of 100 on the Architecture page in light and dark mode.
  • No td-has-header failure on the How it compares page.
  • astro build link check passes.
