Start by reviewing the existing dot, t(), map, and conj() APIs and how complex data types are handled. The scope still needs deciding between complex conjugation, inner products, or both; done would mean the selected operations work for complex data and remain valid or redundant for strictly real data.

Beschreibung

I was wondering whether there is any interest in implementing complex conjugation and/or inner products for complex data types?

For example, implementing a a.ct() which would be equivalent to a.t().map(|v| v.conj()) and a a.inner_product(b) which would be equivalent to a.dot(b.ct()).

This would obviously be only for complex data types though I guess that for strictly real data, these could still 'work' (and be redundant with dot and t()). I'm not sure whether that would complicate significantly the implementation or not.
