Rechercherichtung

Start with the bundle manifests (META-INF/MANIFEST.MF) of the com.microsoft.copilot.eclipse.* jars and compare their Require-Bundle, Import-Package and Bundle-RequiredExecutionEnvironment headers with the Eclipse 4.41 runtime. Check eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator/bundles.info and reproduce with -debug -consoleLog and the OSGi framework debug options to see why the bundles resolve to INSTALLED instead of ACTIVE. Done means the bundles show as active in Installation Details and the Copilot views and menus appear after restart.

The GitHub Copilot plugin installs successfully and its bundles are present on disk and registered in bundles.info, but the plugin is not loaded by Eclipse.

After restarting Eclipse:

No GitHub Copilot menu is available.
No Copilot views are available under "Show View".
