Additional notes for reviewers

What it adds beyond default model behavior:

  • Kernel facts that changed between releases, written as "since vX.Y" and checked against mainline v7.3-rc6, so the agent picks APIs that exist in the tree it is working on (for example timer_delete() since v6.2 with del_timer() removed in v6.15, void platform .remove since v6.11, and make CHECK_DTBS=y because a bare .dtb build runs no schema check).
  • The kernel's AI contribution policy: agents never add Signed-off-by: and use Assisted-by: per Documentation/process/coding-assistants.rst.
  • A debugging guide keyed by symptom (oops address patterns, deferred probe, hangs, splats), a 28-class review catalog, and stable, regression, and bot-report workflows (syzbot, kernel test robot, regzbot).
  • Three stdlib Python scripts (path triage, deprecated-API checker, Documentation indexer) that run locally with no network access.

Checks run on the submitted tag: vally lint 0.18.0 passes, skills-ref validate passes, claude plugin validate --strict passes, and CI passes on v0.4.1. The skill collects no data.

This submission was prepared with AI assistance (Claude Code) and reviewed by the maintainer.
