Summary

ForegroundMaterialStyle does not apply material vibrancy. It reports an unimplemented warning and falls back to SystemColorsStyle (#1173). Default foreground content uses this style when the environment has a background material. visionOS windows report a vibrant trait and set a background material, so all default foreground content on visionOS renders with plain system colors instead of vibrant colors. Other platforms are affected inside views with a background material.

Scope

  • Implement ForegroundMaterialStyle._apply(to:) with material vibrancy for the background material in the environment.
  • Apply the same vibrancy to the content and separator styles that resolve through ForegroundMaterialStyle.
  • Remove the SystemColorsStyle fallback and the unimplemented warning.

Acceptance criteria

  • Default foreground content on visionOS renders with vibrant colors that match SwiftUI.
  • Foreground content inside a background material renders with vibrant colors on iOS and macOS.
