Rechercherichtung

Start from Log4jBootstrap and Log4jMigrations, which hardcode ./conf/log4j2.properties, and from how log4j2.configurationFile is set at launch. Empirically test whether a comma-separated list of properties-format files merges as a CompositeConfiguration on the project's log4j2 version (docs emphasize XML/JSON/YAML). Done when merge behavior is verified and a drop-in path for logging is either implemented or documented as not viable.

Beschreibung

Split out of #50, which is getting mirth.properties.d support for the main config. Logging was deliberately left out of that PR.

log4j2's log4j2.configurationFile accepts a comma-separated list of files and merges them into a CompositeConfiguration, which might make this nearly free. Two things need checking before trusting it: the merge machinery is documented around XML/JSON/YAML and its behavior with properties-format configs (what we ship) needs empirical verification on our log4j version, and the launcher hardcodes ./conf/log4j2.properties in Log4jBootstrap/Log4jMigrations.
