Rechercherichtung

Start by reading the GIF plugin’s existing WhatsApp sticker flow, which the issue says sends 512×512 WebP stickers. Then review the linked emoji-kitchen-backend metadata.json and the referenced Android app for how combinations and images are represented. Done means users can select two emojis, see a matching sticker in LeanType, and send it from the keyboard.

Is your feature request related to a problem?
I switched from Gboard to LeanType, and the GIF plugin works great for WhatsApp stickers. The one Gboard feature I still miss is Emoji Kitchen: pick two emojis and get a combined "mashup" sticker. Without it, the only options are going back to Gboard or using a separate app or website.

Describe the solution you'd like
In the emoji panel (or as a tab in the GIF plugin), when I pick two emojis, LeanType shows the matching Emoji Kitchen sticker, and I can tap it to send it as a sticker, like Gboard does in WhatsApp.

Ideas that might help:

  • The GIF plugin already sends WhatsApp stickers (512x512 WebP), so Emoji Kitchen could be a new provider or tab there.
  • The open-source project xsalazar/emoji-kitchen-backend has a metadata.json listing all valid combinations and their image URLs.
  • KnlnKS/emoji-kitchen (MIT) is an Android app that bundles the combinations offline and shows one possible approach.

Use case
I chat on WhatsApp every day. The fun of Emoji Kitchen is choosing any two emojis on the spot and sending whatever mix comes out. A fixed sticker pack can't do that. Having it inside LeanType means I never need to switch keyboards.

Alternatives considered

  • emojikitchen.dev in the browser, then copy and paste: works, but it's slow and not inside the keyboard.
  • KnlnKS/emoji-kitchen: works offline, but it's a separate keyboard, so I'd have to switch back and forth.
  • Saving favorite mixes as a sticker pack in the GIF plugin: loses the "mix anything at any moment" feel.

App version & Flavor
LeanType 4.2.9, Standard flavor, with the GIF plugin installed. Android 16 (ColorOS 16), OPPO Reno11 5G.
