Start in the GUI's grid drop-down and inspect the existing isometric angle parameters to determine how grid axes are represented. Define the rotation-offset behavior for isometric grids, including the requested 90° or 30° rotation, and verify that the rendered grid matches the examples; consider rectangular grids only if the existing design supports extending the setting.

Beschreibung

Hi, I'm working on an artwork that requires building on what I'd call a "horizontal" isometric grid:

However, as far as I can tell the app only offers a standard "vertical" isometric grid:

There are two angle parameters in the grid drop-down in the GUI, but those seem to be related to the relative angle between the axes (i.e. changing the angular spacing from an even 60° to something else), but what I'd like is the ability to rotate the entire grid, in my case by 90° (or 30°, same thing).

Perhaps even better than just a vertical/horizontal toggle would be a fully variable option/slider, in case some mad bastard wants their grid to be rotation offset of 23° or some other jaunty angle – and this "rotation offset" setting could then be extended to normal rectangular grids as well?
