Rechercherichtung

Start by locating the Windows viewer code that draws transparent dipole arrows and inspect how it handles blending and atom occlusion. Reproduce the rendering on the affected Windows setup, checking display scaling as a possible factor. Done means the arrow blends smoothly, its tail is hidden inside the oxygen, and the reported resize line and left-edge placement are investigated.

Beschreibung

Seen on 9.2.2, Windows 11, Dell OptiPlex 7070 (university-managed, large display; scale not yet known). On a managed Latitude 7410 at 100 % scale ECCE looks and works fine, so scaling and the managed setup are both candidates.

The transparent dipole arrow is rendered as a stipple pattern instead of blended, and the part inside the oxygen is visible as a dark dotted patch. Also: a white horizontal line is left in the 3-D view while a panel is resized, and the molecule was seen at the left edge of the view.
