Start by reading how the existing video and photo acquisition modes are implemented in the Kotlin Android codebase, then decide how a panorama mode would capture frames and stitch them. This needs a design decision before any code, so ask the maintainers which approach they want. Done means an agreed design and a plan for the mode, not a patch.

Feature description
Currently only video and photo are available as acquisition modes.
We could add "more" with panorama (among other modes, like macro...)
