Beschreibung
Background
Many self-service tasks happen in the user's profile in the Defguard web interface: changing the password, managing MFA methods and passkeys, viewing and adding devices, and getting a QR code to add a mobile device. The desktop client doesn't link to the profile, so users have to know or find the Defguard URL themselves. For users who rarely open the web interface, this often ends in a question to the administrator.
The profile is served by Core, which is usually reachable only from the internal network or through the VPN, not from the internet.
User Story
As a user of the desktop client,
I want to open my Defguard user profile directly from the app,
so that I can manage my account, MFA methods and devices without looking for the Defguard address.
Acceptance criteria
- Each instance in the desktop client has an option to open the user profile.
- The option opens the profile page of that instance in the default browser.
- The option is available in both the tray view and the full view.
- If the instance's Defguard address isn't known to the client, the option isn't shown.
