Start with the apiops extract command and its filter handling, focusing on how top-level schemas: [] and --no-transitive are interpreted. Trace the code that creates per-API schema and operation artifacts, then identify the relevant extraction tests or fixtures. Done means a single filter excludes schemas and operations from every API without repeating an entry for each API, while existing filters continue to work.

Beschreibung

type:feature
Problem or use case

we are using apiops-cli 1.0.4 to extract all APIs with this filter:

apis: ['*']
schemas: []

The extraction also uses --no-transitive. It still produces schema and operation artifacts inside individual API folders:

apis/<api>/schemas/<schema>/schemaInformation.json
apis/<api>/operations/<operation>/operationInformation.json

From what we can see, the top-level schemas: [] applies to service-level schemas. Excluding schemas and operations within APIs requires a separate nested filter entry for each API.

Proposed solution

Add a filter option to exclude schemas and operations from all APIs, without requiring a separate entry for each API .
