Research direction

Start in the React monitor detail page, tracing where metric group and field identifiers are converted into labels. Read the existing template translations returned by /api/i18n/zh-CN and the related localization code. Done means the selected language is used, missing translations fall back to raw names, and metric identifiers remain unchanged; verify with the monitor detail UI tests if available.

Current Behavior

The React monitor detail page displays raw metric group and field names even when translated names already exist in the monitoring template.

For example, with the interface set to Simplified Chinese, an HTTP monitor shows “summary” and “responseTime” instead of “概要” and “响应时间”.

Switching to English also leaves the raw names unchanged instead of displaying “Summary” and “Response Time”.

Expected Behavior

Use the existing template translations for metric group and field names, following the selected interface language.

If a translation is missing, fall back to the original name. The underlying metric identifiers should remain unchanged.

Steps To Reproduce

1.Run the HertzBeat 2.0 React frontend with a backend.

2.Create an HTTP website monitor pointing to a reachable endpoint and wait for metric data.

3.Set the interface language to Simplified Chinese and open the monitor detail page.

4.Check the group headings and field names. They still display raw names such as “summary” and “responseTime”.

5.Switch to English and check the names again.

Environment
HertzBeat version(s): 2.0-SNAPSHOT, React frontend
Affected master revision: d823f2dcd52903c01d2f79b93019d379208584dc
Operating system: Windows
Deployment: Local frontend connected to a real HertzBeat backend
Debug logs

The /api/i18n/zh-CN endpoint already returns the corresponding translations, including “概要” for the website summary group and “响应时间” for its responseTime field.

Anything else?

Related background: #1212.

The earlier template translation task is completed. This report concerns using those existing translations in the React frontend, rather than adding new translations to the YAML templates.

A local fix is in progress.
