Research direction

Start by locating the canvas handlers for drop, image-data paste, and the toolbar's "Add image" action, then trace how site configuration is read. Add a configuration-controlled path that disables or removes all three upload routes and directs authors to the AEM Assets picker; verify that uploads remain enabled by default.

Description

Request
Add a site config key that disables drop, paste and the toolbar's "Add image" in the canvas. Every image then comes from AEM Assets and its approval workflow.

Current state

For AEM Assets only projects it is not possible to disable the local file upload & drag & drop.

Proposed behaviour

A site config key (name to be decided) turns off all three upload paths in the canvas.
When off, drop, paste of image data and "Add image" are disabled or removed, and the author is pointed to the AEM Assets picker.
Default stays as today (uploads allowed).
