Research direction
Start by reading the repository’s existing language definitions and tests to find how language codes, aliases, and plural formulas are represented. Add Sinhala (si) with the supplied aliases (sin and si_LK) and plural formula, then run the relevant language definition tests to confirm it is recognized.

Additional context
Sinhala (සිංහල) is an Indo-Aryan language primarily spoken in Sri Lanka. Its ISO 639-1 language code is si, and its ISO 639-2 code is sin.
According to Unicode CLDR v50, Sinhala has two cardinal plural categories: one and other. For integer values, one applies to 0 and 1, while other applies to values greater than 1.
Sinhala is written in the Sinhala script and uses left to right text direction.
The proposed plural formula is n > 1, consistent with CLDR integer plural rules.
