Research direction

Start by reading the current_workspace implementation and checking how it currently resolves the workspace from the hostname. The issue identifies /etc/rsc/storage.json and its top-level workspace_id key as another source for SRC workspaces with the SRC-OS component. Done when current_workspace can obtain the workspace ID from that file for those workspaces.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

current_workspace now looks up the workspace API based on the current workspace's hostname. However, all SRC workspaces with the SRC-OS component also contain the workspace ID in /etc/rsc/storage.json (top-level workspace_id key).
