Research direction

This is an app-submission report for a data-driven listing, not a code change; start with the repository's contribution guide to find where app entries are stored and which fields the schema expects. Then add Report Studio as a Developer Tools entry with native arm64 support, the download page https://bowa.up.railway.app/report-studio and the screenshot from the issue. Done means the app page lists Report Studio with the Apple Silicon badge. Read the single existing comment first, in case a maintainer already answered or started the entry.

Description

New App Request
The official name of the app

Report Studio is a native Apple Silicon (arm64) report designer for JasperReports - edits .jrxml report definitions and compiles/previews real .jasper output, using the real, unmodified JasperReports engine (6.20.3) bundled via a small Java sidecar with an arm64-only jlinked JRE (verified zero x86_64 slices in the build).

Is there a supported version available on a stable release channel?

Yes

An Official App Download Page

https://bowa.up.railway.app/report-studio

Free, early/beta stage. Currently ad-hoc signed (not yet notarized with a paid Apple Developer ID), so macOS shows an "unidentified developer" warning on first open - the download page has instructions for allowing it (right-click > Open).
